Peace Prep

Say hello to Whitefield Academy 6th graders Presley Duncanson and Amaya Moore!  These sweet girls were awarded $10,000 on behalf of Peace Prep Academy  here in Atlanta, GA.  Peace Prep has educated hundreds of people, provided meals for the community and is the first school in the area in 20 years. To date they have completed 5 school years of educational programming that includes the school day and after school programming options, and have launched a community development ministry toaddress housing and economic concerns within the neighborhoods served. They also serve the school community by providing groceries with a food pantry during Covid.  This grant will help the school expand their curriculum to add a sixth grade next year by updating technology spaces and providing computers for the new sixth grade students. Presley and Amaya are passionate about helping kids their age here in Atlanta.
