12 Churches - 2018
12 churches
Location: Nicaragua
Impact:
In rural Nicaragua, communities served by 12 Churches face persistent food insecurity, where families struggle to access reliable, nutritious food, often leading to malnutrition and economic hardship. The emotional toll of not knowing how to feed loved ones weighs heavily on parents and caregivers, limiting opportunities for growth and stability. A $16,750 grant from Ten Thousand Reasons, represented by Everett Sinclair, Luke Sinclair, and Edward Lee, empowered 12 Churches to build chicken coops and plant a farm, creating a sustainable food supply for the community. This initiative not only addresses immediate hunger but also fosters long-term self-sufficiency, empowering families to thrive. The grant enabled 12 Churches to provide:
Construction of chicken coops, ensuring a steady supply of eggs and poultry for community nutrition.
Establishment of a farm, providing fresh produce to combat malnutrition and support food security.
Sustainable infrastructure to promote economic stability, enabling families to focus on education and community development.
Thank you, Everett Sinclair, Luke Sinclair, and Edward Lee, for your passionate representation and unwavering commitment to transforming lives through 12 Churches’ mission in Nicaragua!
