Feed My Lambs

Location: Austell, Georgia

In Austell, Georgia, where poverty restricts access to quality education, young children face significant barriers to academic and social development, often starting life at a disadvantage. An $11,000 grant from Ten Thousand Reasons, applied for by Jackson and Kailey Williams,  transformed the lives of at-risk children by expanding Feed My Lambs’ Christ-centered preschool for ages 3-5, fostering spiritual, academic, and social growth. This initiative not only equips children with foundational skills for a brighter future but also strengthens families and communities by breaking the cycle of poverty through early education. The grant enabled Feed My Lambs to provide:

  • Conversion of two church storage rooms into classrooms, expanding capacity for children on the waitlist.

  • New furnishings for the classrooms, creating a nurturing environment for learning and growth.

  • Teacher computers and remodeled bathrooms, enhancing educational resources and facilities
