Hope Heals Camp -2019

Hope Heals Camp

Location: United States

Impact:

Families affected by disabilities often face overwhelming financial and emotional burdens, leaving little room for rest, connection, or spiritual renewal. Hope Heals Camp, a Christ-centered week-long camp, provides a transformative experience for adults, teens, and kids who have a disability or live with a family member with a disability. Through worship, teaching, and celebration, the camp offers a safe space to find hope and community amid suffering. For many, the financial toll of disability makes such opportunities unattainable, but Hope Heals Camp is offered free to ensure accessibility. A $12,000 grant from Ten Thousand Reasons enabled Hope Heals Camp to fully fund the experience for eight families this year, fostering healing and connection. This grant empowered Hope Heals Camp to provide:

Full funding for eight families to attend a week-long camp, covering all costs for lodging, meals, and activities.

Christ-centered resources, worship, and teaching, nurturing spiritual and emotional renewal for families facing disability.

Opportunities for rest and relationship-building, creating a supportive community to celebrate life and find hope.

Thank you to the representatives-Teachey/Browne of Hope Heals Camp for their unwavering commitment to uplifting families with disabilities through this transformative, faith-filled experience!
