Hope Heals Camp, a Christ-centered week-long retreat and year-round community, provides resources, rest, and relationships to these families. For many women, access to simple luxuries like haircuts or manicures is rare, sometimes limited to once a year. A $12,500 grant from Ten Thousand Reasons, applied for by Stella Bacon, enabled Hope Heals Camp to host a Spa Day event for all adult women at camp, offering a transformative experience of care and celebration. This grant empowered Hope Heals Camp to provide:

Complimentary haircuts, manicures, and pedicures for all adult women, including those with disabilities and their caregivers, fostering dignity and self-worth.

A nurturing environment with live musicians and a catered meal, creating a joyful and restorative experience.

A special day of pampering, honoring the resilience of mothers, wives, guardians, and sisters, and strengthening their sense of community and hope.
