Kids Alive

In rural Ghana, many women lack access to safe medical facilities for childbirth and maternal care, facing life-threatening risks and emotional hardship due to inadequate healthcare infrastructure. Operation Lifesaver, in partnership with Pine Forest United Methodist Church in Georgia, is dedicated to sharing Christ’s love by providing fully equipped clinics and birthing centers to those without medical access. The absence of safe birthing environments endangers mothers and infants, limiting hope for healthy families. A $9,000 grant from Ten Thousand Reasons, applied for by JB Chapman, enabled Operation Lifesaver to purchase and equip a shipping container as a solar-paneled birthing and maternal care center, transforming healthcare access for women in Ghana. This grant empowered Operation Lifesaver to provide:

A solar-paneled shipping container equipped as a birthing and maternal care center, ensuring safe and reliable medical services.

Critical medical supplies and non-medical gifts, enhancing care and comfort for mothers and newborns.

A sustainable healthcare solution, fostering healthier families and sharing Christ’s love through compassionate service.

Thank you, JB Chapman, for your passionate advocacy and commitment to advancing Operation Lifesaver’s mission to bring hope and healing to women in Ghana!
