Manos De Jesus

In Chichicastenango, Guatemala, orphans and widows in four underserved communities face severe challenges, including food insecurity and limited access to education, which can trap children in cycles of poverty and diminish their hope for a brighter future. Pray America/Manos De Jesús, a Jesus-centered ministry, is dedicated to holistically caring for these vulnerable groups by providing essential nutrition and educational resources. A $9,000 grant from Ten Thousand Reasons, applied for by Ben Yarbrough, Tee Tidwell and Henry Tidwell, enabled Pray America/Manos De Jesús to supply food bags and educational materials for one trimester, supporting 530 children across these communities. This grant empowered Pray America/Manos De Jesús to provide:

Food bags containing staples like pasta, rice, beans, and corn, ensuring nutritional support for 530 children in four communities.

Materials for basic education, equipping children with tools to learn and grow academically during one trimester.

A foundation for holistic care, fostering physical, intellectual, and spiritual development to break the cycle of poverty.

Thank you Ben, Tee and Henry for your steadfast commitment to transforming the lives of orphans and widows in Chichicastenango through Jesus-centered care and support!
