Must (Elizabeth Inn)

Location: Marietta, Georgia, USA

In Marietta, the Elizabeth Inn Emergency Shelter, operated by MUST Ministries, offers a vital sanctuary for men, women, families, and children experiencing homelessness, providing 72 beds, three meals a day, and comprehensive support services. For children and families, the lack of dedicated spaces for homework, recreation, or fellowship can deepen feelings of instability, making it harder to focus on education or build community connections. An $8,500 grant from Ten Thousand Reasons, represented by Caroline Kern, empowered the Elizabeth Inn to renovate a space tailored for children and families, fostering an environment of learning, play, and togetherness. This initiative supports emotional healing and practical progress toward stability. The grant enabled MUST Ministries to provide:

  • A renovated space for homework, ensuring children have a quiet, supportive area to focus on education.

  • Dedicated areas for recreation, promoting emotional well-being and family bonding.

  • A fellowship area to strengthen community ties, helping families rebuild hope and connection.

Thank you, Caroline Kern, for your dedicated representation and commitment to advancing the mission of MUST Ministries’ Elizabeth Inn to provide hope and stability for those in need!
