SixtyFeet

In Uganda, thousands of children, some as young as two, languish in prisons or government facilities, often orphaned, abandoned, or trapped by poverty. These children, whether innocent or having committed serious crimes, face harsh conditions with limited access to healthcare, education, or family support, leaving them vulnerable and hopeless. Sixty Feet, a faith-based nonprofit, brings hope and restoration in Jesus’ name by partnering with African governments to address these critical needs. The emotional toll of their circumstances weighs heavily, dimming prospects for a brighter future. A $20,000 grant from Ten Thousand Reasons, applied for by Amy Harty, Taylor Harty, and Henry Harper, empowered Sixty Feet to provide essential medical care and support for disabled children, transforming lives with compassion and care. The grant enabled Sixty Feet to provide:

$10,000 for medical care for imprisoned children, ensuring access to vital treatments to improve their health and well-being.

$10,000 to meet critical needs for disabled children in a government-run facility, providing specialized care and resources.

A foundation for hope and restoration, offering education, healthcare, and family-like support as the hands and feet of Jesus.

Thank you, Amy Harty, Taylor Harty, and Henry Harper, for your heartfelt advocacy and commitment to advancing Sixty Feet’s mission to bring hope and healing to Uganda’s most vulnerable children!
